  B.C. Hells Angels member faces extradition to U.S.

A member of a B.C. chapter of the Hells Angels motorcycle club is facing extradition to the U.S. after being arrested in Fort St. John, police said Tuesday.

Fort St. John RCMP arrested Brian Lee Hall under an extradition warrant last Friday, when he was getting ready to take part in a motorcycle race in the community about 1,200 kilometres northeast of Vancouver, Sgt. Dave Goddard said.

Hall has been indicted on various drug-related charges in the U.S., including conspiracy to import and distribute marijuana, attempted cash smuggling and conspiracy to commit money laundering, Goddard said.

The charges follow a two-year investigation involving both American and Canadian police forces.

Hall is being held in custody after appearing before a B.C. Supreme Court judge in Vancouver on Tuesday.

RCMP said he is a member of the Mission City chapter of the Hells Angels.
